Preparing the pond

Ponds should be arranged near the barn or near the house for convenient care and management; near the road to facilitate the transportation of food, transport of fish fingerlings and commercial fish when harvested.
Before raising fish, the pond must be prepared according to the following steps:
- Stone embankment, cement or tarpaulin lining the pond, or as a stage in the pond, the purpose is to limit the natural food source, the fish will completely use the flaxseed meal.
- Drain the pond, clean the duckweed, grass, dredge the mud (if the amount of mud is too much), level the bottom.
- Remove lime all over the pond bottom to kill trash fish and pathogens by evenly spreading 8-10kg of lime powder per 100m2 of pond bottom.
- Drying the pond for about 3 days, then taking water into the pond with a level of 1.5 – 1.8 m, the water taken into the pond must be clean and uncontaminated. Transport of fingerlings
The fingerlings are transported in oxygenated bags by refrigerated trucks. Fish after being caught in the pond are released into a large aeration tank, select healthy fish without scratches and drop them into bags containing about 20 liters of clean water, each bag transports about 10 fish. Care and management
