Additional organic matter with a low C/N ratio will be fully and rapidly decomposed with mineralized nitrogen. Some nitrogen after being mineralized can be used again to decompose organic substances with a high C/N ratio that have not been decomposed before. Therefore, the organic matter content in the environment will sometimes be reduced due to the decomposition process of the newly added low C/N organic matter.
