  1. Organic fertilizer

As the name suggests, organic fertilizer is a fertilizer consisting of organic compounds rich in multi-, medium-, and micro-nutrients.

The most common that we often see are green manure from decomposing vegetables, manure from livestock and poultry barns, peat, etc.

Organic fertilizers are often used to fertilize the soil with the role of providing humus and organic matter to the soil. Thereby helping the soil increase porosity, fertility, richer in nutrients. After planting, people still continue to fertilize this fertilizer to provide nutrients, stimulate plant growth and better development.

However, organic fertilizer is not only one type but is divided into many different types. Including: green manure, manure, garbage, microbiological fertilizer, organic biological fertilizer.

Green manure

  • Ingredient: Fresh leafy plants applied directly to the soil, usually the leaves of legumes
  • Using: Use fertilizer to improve the soil or fertilize when the plant is in the flowering period

Manure

  • Ingredient: is a mixture of manure, urine of livestock and poultry and fillers, usually must be composted to rot before applying one of three methods: hot incubation, cold incubation or hot incubation before and after cooling.
  • Using: Using fertilizer helps to loosen the soil and increase fertility, providing nutrients for plants

Garbage feces

  • Ingredient: combination of probiotics mixed with some other beneficial biological active ingredients, produced by advanced biotechnology
  • Using: Spray on leaves or fertilize the base, effectively stimulate the growth and development of plants

  1. Inorganic fertilizers

Inorganic fertilizers Also known as chemical fertilizer, is a fertilizer produced by industrial processes, containing nutrients in the form of inorganic mineral salts.

According to the composition of fertilizers, inorganic fertilizers are divided into two main types: single inorganic fertilizers and mixed inorganic fertilizers.

Single form inorganic fertilizer

  • Ingredient: contains only one of three mineral nutrients, N, P, or K
  • Classify: divided into 3 types: nitrogen fertilizer (urea fertilizer, nitrogen sulfate, nitrate, ammonium chloride, …), phosphate fertilizer (including superphosphate fertilizer and fused phosphate fertilizer) and potassium fertilizer (including potassium chloride, potassium sulfate and potassium nitrate).
  • Effective use: Nitrogen fertilizer helps to promote plant leaves, branches, increase yield, phosphate fertilizer is used as a primer to promote root development, potassium fertilizer is used to increase yield and crop quality.

Mixed inorganic fertilizers

  • Composition: is a fertilizer containing 2 or more mineral nutrients N, P, K or more
  • Classification: Compost (including NPK fertilizer, split fertilizer and specialized fertilizer), compound fertilizer
  • Effective use: Stimulates the growth of plant parts including roots, stems, branches and leaves, contributing to increased yield and crop quality.

Lime is also considered a fertilizer for plants to improve acidic and salty soil, provide calcium for plants, decompose organic matter and increase nutrient absorption.

There are two types of lime commonly used to fertilize plants:

  • Crushed lime: is limestone, shells, shells, etc., ground into powder to use as a lining fertilizer when making soil, not with nitrogen fertilizers.
  • Lime is the finished product from the process of calcining CaCO3 into CaO, used for soil treatment and pest control for plants, faster than crushed lime.
